Newton Vineyard meticulous approach to winemaking is no more obvious than in the Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, a true Napa Valley cabernet with strong potential for ageing.The ripe and flavoursome grapes that make up this robust red were picked by hand from the estate three vineyards in the Spring Mountain, Mt. Veeder and Yountville appellations.

BLEND AND ORIGIN

Newton Vineyards Unfiltered Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

The drought that affected much of California in the years prior to 2014, coupled with near-perfect conditions that summer, promoted an abundant and outstanding crop. Harvested from vineyards within the Spring Mountain, Mt. Veeder and Yountville appellations, the final blend is cabernet sauvignon (92%), cabernet franc (3%), petit verdot (2%), malbec (2%) and merlot (1%).
